Installation Process of Double Beam Bridge Block Cutting Machine
Recently, we visited a customer's factory to assist with the installation of four double beam bridge block cutting machines. During this visit, we observed the full installation process on-site and decided to share it as a practical guide for those interested in stone machinery setup.
A proper installation process is essential to ensure machine stability, cutting accuracy, and long-term performance. Below is a step-by-step overview of how a double beam bridge cutting machine is installed.

1. Foundation Preparation
Before installing the machine, the factory must complete a solid concrete foundation. A stable and level base is critical for ensuring the machine operates smoothly and maintains cutting precision during production.
2. Installation of Side Beams
After the foundation is ready, the two side beams are fixed onto the concrete base. During this process, technicians use leveling instruments and infrared alignment tools to ensure that both side beams are perfectly aligned on the same horizontal level.
This step is extremely important, as any misalignment can directly affect the cutting accuracy of the machine.

3. Lifting and Installing the Main Structure
Once the side beams are installed, a large crane is used to lift the main structure of the machine and place it precisely onto the side beams.
After positioning, lubricating oil is added between the main beam and side beams to reduce friction, ensure smooth movement, and prevent mechanical wear over time.

(Just to clarify, the engine oil is used to lubricate the guide rails, which helps ensure smooth and stable machine movement, reduces friction between components, and effectively minimizes wear during long-term operation.)
4. Installation of Key Components
The next step is to install the main components of the machine, including:
- Spindle box: responsible for driving the cutting blades.

- Hydraulic station: installed on top of the machine, providing power for vertical movement.
、

- Protective water cover: mounted above the blades to prevent water splashing during cutting.

During the cutting process, water is continuously sprayed onto the blades. This serves two important purposes: cooling the blades and reducing dust generation. The protective cover ensures a cleaner and safer working environment.
5. Electrical and Water Connection
After all mechanical components are installed, the machine is connected to the power supply and water system. These connections are essential for the operation of the cutting and cooling systems.

6. Machine Testing and Commissioning
Before putting the machine into full operation, technicians perform detailed testing and adjustments. This includes checking movement accuracy, blade operation, and overall system stability.
Once everything runs smoothly and meets operational standards, the installation is considered complete.
Conclusion
The installation of a double beam bridge block cutting machine requires careful planning, precise alignment, and professional execution. Each step plays a vital role in ensuring optimal performance and long-term reliability.
With proper installation and setup, the machine can deliver stable cutting performance and high efficiency in stone processing factories.
